Programs Director: MSJDN is seeking a Programs Director to chair our Programs Committee which is responsible for co-sponsorship of MSJDN events, monitoring meeting policies of MSJDN, and overseeing the continue legal education programs and services of MSJDN. The Programs Committee works closely with MSJDN’s Director of Pro-Bono Services/Programs, the Special Events Committee, as well as the Membership Committee to develop programs, events, and  continuing legal education opportunities.

Membership Committee: MSJDN is seeking committee members for our Membership Committee, which is responsible for maintaining MSJDN’s membership roster, ensuring compliance with MSJDN’s dues policies, overseeing all member dues and services, and supporting MSJDN’s geographical membership groups. The membership committee may also develop opportunities to enhance membership benefits through programs, planning, and collaboration with other committees.

State Rule Change Directors: MSJDN advocates for licensing accommodations for military spouses, including bar membership without additional examination. Each state’s supreme court and bar association sets its own rules regarding bar admission in that jurisdiction. Accordingly, we have adopted a state-by-state approach to our advocacy efforts. MSJDN is seeking State Directors to lead a rule change team comprised of MSJDN in the following states: AR, CO, CT, IN, IA, KS, LA, MD, MA, MI, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, ND, WV, WI, WY.
