The Justice for Military Families team has had a busy month! We have officially begun work on our online library.
This library will be a compilation of information sheets, ranging from 1-4 pages each, organized by subject matter and jurisdiction. The goal is to create a fluid online library that we can link with our partner’s website (TAPS.org).
This project will allow JMF to help many more Gold Star families much more efficiently. We are so excited for this exciting endeavor! Our next committee meeting will be all about moving forward with the online library, utilizing a sample document on Wills in Virginia created by committee member Jaime Welch. If you’re interested in joining us now is a great time!
On another exciting note, we created a Writers Corps within JMF! Committee member Rachel Smith is our first writer. Writers will contribute articles to the MSJDN blog and other organizations to spread awareness on the great work of JMF to the larger MSJDN community and the public at large.
We have two new intake coordinators! Welcome Dawn Gile and Kristin Tyree! We now have six amazing intake coordinators on our team! Want to learn more or get involved? Email JMF Director Gabriela Nostro at JMF@MSJDN.org
