Growing together. That’s one way to describe the partnership and shared focus of MSJDN and one of its inaugural Homefront Partners, Prudential Financial, Inc.
Since its founding, MSJDN has served as a trusted supporter and advocate for military spouses and veterans in the legal profession across our communities. Through its longstanding partnership with Prudential, it has seen success in addressing one of the biggest challenges facing military professionals and their spouses – finding employment.
Helping veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses build lasting and rewarding careers is a key focus at Prudential. The company provides job opportunities that allow military spouses to have the career flexibility needed to succeed both professionally and personally, even while balancing the demands of military life that often require frequent location changes.
Even as the current pandemic creates new remote job opportunities, MSJDN and Prudential have put renewed focus and commitment to this work. There are currently several job opportunities available within Prudential’s law, compliance business ethics and external affairs function. Most of which provide lateral job opportunities for candidates with several years of related work experiences. MSJDN members who are interested should visit Prudential’s career website at jobs.prudential.com. To learn more about the company from its current veteran employees or simply to ask questions please contact MSJDN member, Jennifer Vercellone, Vice President & Corporate Counsel with Prudential’s Data and Privacy Law team at jennifer.vercellone@prudential.com or Jim Beamesderfer, Vice President with Prudential’s Veterans Initiatives at james.beamesderfer@prudential.com.
As MSJDN prepares to mark its 10th year anniversary this month, we say cheers and many thanks to Prudential for its steadfast support and to even more years in growing a stronger partnership in supporting military spouses and veterans.
