Jazz& Justice: A Celebration 15 Years in the Making

On June 13, 2026, the Military Spouse JD Network celebrated 15 years of opening doors for military-connected legal professionals with an unforgettable evening of Jazz & Justice.

The MSJDN Foundation’s Awards Gala brought together founders, alumni, current members, sponsors, and supporters—connecting the past, present, and future of MSJDN. Seeing so many of the leaders who helped build our organization celebrating alongside today’s members was a powerful reminder that MSJDN’s greatest achievement over the past 15 years isn’t simply what we’ve accomplished—it’s the extraordinary community we’ve built together.

Keynote speaker The Honorable Jocelyn Mitnaul Mallette, Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and a third-generation service member  delivered an inspiring message highlighting the strength, flexibility, and resilience of military spouses. Secretary Mallette reminded us that “[S]upporting military spouses is not a courtesy—it is an imperative.” Her remarks reinforced the importance of investing in military families and the legal professionals who serve and surround them.

Thanks to the generosity of our guests, sponsors, donors, and silent auction participants, the Foundation raised vital funds to support professional development opportunities and pro bono initiatives benefiting military-connected legal professionals and military families. From the coveted Taylor Swift “Ultimate Fan” collection to stunning jewelry and exclusive *This Is Not Legal Advice merchandise, the silent auction added excitement while advancing our mission.

To our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who joined us—thank you for making our 2026 Awards Gala a tremendous success!
