Homefront Rising is a non-partisan initiative founded by Mary Reding Smith, Lauren Wittenberg Weiner, and Donna Hunneycutt that encourages and trains military spouses to speak up and get involved in the political process though serving in public office and positions of influence.

At the heart of Homefront Rising’s mission is the desire to empower members of the military community to make positive change for military families. Military spouses have become adept at calling on Congress and our elected officials to demand that they meet the needs of those who serve. But we also need members of our own community among the elected officials making decisions that affect it. Homefront Rising aims to change the conversation from “call your representative” to having military spouses be the representatives! The training empowers military spouses to take the skills learned from supporting the homefront to Capitol Hill, school boards, city halls, and state houses across this country.

Limited seating is available for the Women’s Symposium. Click here to register now and save your spot for this in-depth training on public service.
